Well my boys are off to school, one day down and second day happening!!  It is a little wierd, the house is quiet and Cash is constantly asking me questions.  I have got a lot done in the past two days, still alot to do, but I am trying to stay positive!!  Just want to thank Becky for letting us stay at the cabin last weekend, I had so much fun talking to everyone and being around Brit and Char, you two are awesome!!  It's almost fall, I love that time of year so I am way excited!!!  Love to all of you and prayers to Ryan this week, we love ya!  The Carrillo's

Where has the summer gone? It seems like every day has been super busy-not complaining I tend to like keeping my plate full. Not a feast mind you but full. We've had fun with our kids and grandkids, siblings and I'm looking forward to my moms reunion and sorry I couldn't make it to dad's. I want to say thanks to Paul and Becky for the cabin-we had a blast. Also thanks to my sisters in the valley who have been over this summer.
  I also want to say HAPPY 60TH BIRTHDAY to my babe. Sorry to give out so much info. but he's still hot and rocks my world.

  I've had alot of aha moments this year and I thank the Lord for good health, for the creations I enjoy and for the absolute love I have of life and people.  And can I just say I love my job-I have so many great senior friends who don't always act their age and we like it that way.

AUGUST....

I HAVE TO TELL HE TRUTH, I HAVE BEEN DREADING THIS MONTH ALL YEAR LONG.  FOR SOME REASON THIS YEAR HAS BEEN A HARD ONE TO DEAL WITH CORY'S DEATH ALMOST 2 YEARS AGO IN AUGUST.  I MISS THAT KID SO MUCH AND FEEL LONELY FOR HIS CHATS,  MESSING UP MY HAIR, AND THAT KISS ON MY FOREHEAD, & HAMBURGERS HE MADE..AND HUGS EVERYTIME HE SAW ME. 
I HAVE BEEN BLESSED IN OTHER WAYS HOWEVER,  WE;VE HAD THE PRIVLIGE OF HAVING OUR YOUNGEST SON AND HIS LITTLE ONE HERE ...WHAT A JOY THEY BRING TO ME...LOTS OF LAUGHTER WHEN THOSE 2 GET TOGETHER, MASON IS A WONDERFUL DADDY...
I HAVE BEEN TWICE BLESSED BY HAVING AUDREY AND 3 BOYS MOVE HERE WITH US AND GETTING TO KNOW THEIR LITTLE FAMILY BETTER EACH MOMENT OF THE DAY...
IT IS NICE TO HAVE HER HERE...

WOW

So, we had our first performance last night for our stake musical and all I can say is WOW!. We nailed every number and the audience went wild. So many miracles happened to make this a wholesome family, missionary tool production. So many hundreds of prayers were answered. I had my own personal please answered yesterday when I lost my voice to overuse and allergies. I prayed all day, drank honey and lemon tea and right as the second song I was in started, I felt it come back and was able to play Miss Hannigan. We had a lady who had a major lead get food poisoning the day before and was very sick-she rocked last night. Another lead broke her foot on Monday-she painted her crutch black and got on that stage and sang her heart out. The list goes on.
My point is-God hears and answers prayers, he wants his children to have meaningful experiences and have culture in their lives. Music is a heart soother and healer, a joyful noise of the heart and our cast surely has been blessed by being part of something so huge and wonderful.
Just a note-160 cast members, hundreds of costumes, we can't even count the endless hours of practice, two stages and choir risers, amazing scenery and props. This has been an effort of love and sacrifice and I've been so blessed to be part of it.
My advice is-if you ever get the opportunity to do a stake or ward musical-jump in with both feet and have the time of your life. Also, you don't even have to sing, there's always something for everyone to do.

I WANTED TO TAKE THIS TIME TO TELL YOU THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOVE, PRAYERS AND SUPPORT FOR JACK AND ME OVER THESE LAST 10 DAYS. IT HAS BEEN A ROLLER COASTER OF A RIDE. IT WAS SO UNEXPECTED, BUT LIFE CHANGES IN A HURRY AND WE LEARN TO GO FORWARD WITH FAITH IN THE LORD, THAT HE KNOWS THE BEST FOR US ALL. THE MINI STROKE MADE MY LEFT SIDE GO NUMB, BUT I AM GRATEFULLY GETTING USE OUT OF THE ARM AND LEG, THEY ARE SLUGGISH BUT I'M MOVING ALONG.
AUDREY WAS A LIFE SAVER FOR US. SHE COOKED UP MEALS, CLEANED MY CUPBOARDS OUT, MADE ME LAUGH, HELPED ME TO DO THE THINGS I NEEDED TO PHYSICALLY AND I LOVE HER DEARLY. SHE IS NOW ON HER WAY TO HER LITTLE FAMILY THAT HAVE BEEN PATIENTLY WAITING HER ARRIVAL.

ANYWAY I FIGURE WE SAY PRETTY MUCH GOOD THINGS HERE & NOT REALLY WORRIED BUT IF YOU WANT TO REMOVE HER THEN THAT WOULD BE MUCH ABLIGED. ENOUGH SAID.







ON A GREAT NOTE: IT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE I HAVE FELT WELL BUT I AM OVER THE HUMP OF SURGERY, KIDNEY INFECT, ALLERGIC REACTIONS AND STONES ETC AND ALL THAT GOES WITH IT. HOORAY FOR ME !!!!

WE HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE WITH MOST OF THE GRANDKIDS AND MAN I LOVE THAT. SIMON WAS HERE OVER THE WEEKEND AND HE IS A HOOT ! RYKER HAD A SLEEP OVER WITH US AND JENNA CAME ON SAT. FUN KIDS. TRISHA SEEMS TO BE HAPPY AND VERY BUSY WITH LIFE. JACK TOOK RYKER AND JENNA TO AUDREY'S FOR A FEW DAYS AND THEY HAD A BLAST WITH THE 3 AMIGO'S.

WE WENT OUT WITH CHERISE, MARTY, CASH, WENDY AND NORM FOR FUN SAT NIGHT (VIC DIDN'T ANSWER HER PHONE BUT I LEFT A INVITE ON IT ) IT WAS ALL VERY LAST MINUTE BUT VERY ENJOYABLE TO BE TOGETHER. THEN CRIC'S FAMILY STAYED HERE OVER NIGHT.
