THOUGHTS 9/9/2013

WELL ANOTHER MONTH AND ANOTHER DAY HAS GONE BY...
I WONDER AT TIMES WHAT IT MEANS TO ALL OF US CAMPBELLS/FAMILIES

I ALSO WONDER IF ANYONE REALLY THINKS ABOUT THE THINGS THAT MATTER
IN LIFE...NOT THE FLUFF, BUT THE REAL LIFE THINGS...THAT MAY HURT SOME BUT NOT EFFECT OTHERS....

I THINK OFTEN ABOUT THE GRANDKIDS OF WENDELL AND JANET AND THE LIFE'S THEY HAVE CHOOSEN....
I THINK THAT YOU ARE ALL WONDERFUL....

I FIND MYSELF THINKING ABOUT WHY THINGS HAPPEN.....AND HOW DO I/WE GET THRU THEM....

I AM AMAZED AT THE MANY WAYS PEOPLE TREAT EACH OTHER....

MY WONDERMENT OF THE WORLD AND HOW IT WORKS IS SO DISVERSIFIED...I ALWAYS THINK ABOUT HOW OTHERS WORK IN THEIR FAMILY DYNAMICS  & SETTINGS....AROUND THE WORLD...AND HOW THEY DEAL WITH LIFE...

IT SEEMS THAT I HAVE ALOT TO LEARN.....AT MY RIPE OLE AGE....BECAUSE THE WORLD MOVES FORWARD A SECOND AT A TIME...IT DOESN'T STOP FOR ANYONE....


MY WISH FOR ALL OF US WOULD BE TO FIND OUR INNER SELF AND STRENGHT AND TO RELY ON THE TRUTH YOU FIND IN IT...TO KNOW AND TREAT THOSE YOU LOVE WITH DIGNITY AND RESPECT, BUT MOST OF ALL WITH THE RIGHT KIND OF LOVE......

MY MIND AND HEART IS FULL TONIGHT AND I FIND MYSELF OFTEN THINKING OF MY SIBLINGS.....IT HAS NOT ALWAYS BEEN A ROSE PATH FOR EACH OF US ....I WISH FOR PEACE IN YOUR LIFE'S AND HONOR, RESPECT, KINDNESS, DIVERSITY, LOVE, GENTLENESS AND TRUTH....I HOPE YOU ALL FIND THESE BEAUTIFUL ATTRIBUTES AND SHARE THEM OFTEN.

Thanks for the new look Clar, I still read this blog although there aren't many entries now that facebook is available.  I love it anyway!!  Life is busy for us as it is for everyone, but we love you all and miss seeing you!!  Happy rest of the summer!!

PHIL GOT HIS REAL ESTATE LICENSE, AUDREY IS DOING ALOT OF SINGING AND PERFORMING AND LOVES IT
SPENC JUST GOT HOME FROM WYOMING WITH SCOUTS
AARON IS LOVING BEING 12 AND SWIMMING
BENJI IS SWIMMING ALL DAY EVERYDAY
AND WE MISS SEEING RYK AND JENNA AND SIMON AS OFTEN..
MAS IS BACK FROM EUROPE TOUR AND LEAVING THIS WEEK TO KOREA, JAPAN, AUSTRALIA ETC FOR TOUR WITH LINESAY STIRLING AGAIN..
JACK IS BUSY WITH ME AND HAS SOME JOB OPPORTUNITIES TO GO TO IDAHO FALLS AND DRIGGS AND VICTOR FOR A FEW...THEN TOOELE...
I AM TRYING MY BEST TO KEEP OUT OF THE HOSPITAL...I HAVE 2 HOLES IN MY BLADDER FROM THE DIVERTICULITIS AND HOPING THEY DON'T SPREAD INTO MY COLON...SO I AM PRETTY MUCH HERE AT THE HOSPITAL DAY 6 NOW AND I WANT TO GO HOME..FUNNY I HAVEN'T HAD MUCH COMPANY FROM ?????JUST A TALK WOULD BE NICE....BUT O WELL....
WE ARE MOVING FORWARD, WE HAVE ALL BEEN THINKING ABOUT OUR CORY HE HAS BEEN GONE FOR 3 YRS ON AUGUST 28TH THIS YEAR...HE WAS A SASSY BUT GREAT MAN...SURE MISS HIM ALOT....

ARE YOU HAPPY !  HOPE SO....LIFE IS GETTING SO BUSY THESE DAYS...JACK HAS SOME NEW OPPORTUNITIES HE IS INVOLVED IN AND IT IS GREAT TO SEE A SMILE ON HIS FACE....
THE EASTER WEEKEND WAS BUSY WE HAD 19 PEOPLE FOR DINNER AND EGG HUNT ON SUNDAY..(WENDY YOU AND NORM SHOULD HAVE COME OVER)...FOR THAT MATTER ALL OF YOU COULD HAVE COME..WE HAD YUMMY FOOD...HAM AND TURKEY...YUMMY AUDREY POTATO'S AND GREAT DESSERTS...
WE GOT TO HAVE GRANDMA JOHNSONS FOR 3 DAYS AND IT WAS A BLAST...SHE HAS BEEN SPENDING EVERY EASTER WITH US NOW FOR 40 YEARS...LOTS OF EASTERS AT GENERAL CONFERNCES AND AT OUR HOMES...WITH OUR KIDO'S...
SHE WILL BE 93 THIS YEAR AND STILL GOING STRONG...I LOVE HER SO MUCH.

WE HAVE LOTS PLANNED ALREADY FOR SUMMER AND PLACES TO SEE AND GO...
MAY THE LORD BLESS EACH OF US WITH THE THINGS WE NEED IN OUR LIFE'S..

Paul and Becky's Mission to Cameron Arizona 2013

Here it goes.  We thought we would blog our mission to Cameron Arizona 2013 for those who are interested it reading.  Also it will become a book when we have finished our mission.
We entered the MTC on March 4th 2013. It was amazing.  There were 3000 missionaries. I think it was 1000 girls and 2000 boys.  The girls are catching up fast.  We had a very humbling 5 days.  The first time we had to teach a boy in his 20s  about the restoration.  I have never been so frighten.  Paul was calm and ready to go.  That night we were to get ready to teach someone about the plan of salvation the next day. I went to sleep at 8:30 and woke up in tears and told,Paul he could do it.  We went there and a couple showed us a diagram of the plan of salvation.  I felt a little bit better.  We taught a older man and it went so great.  I think some one was with me. I felt calm and my mouth could actually teach without    Stuttering. Sp.   We went to 2 fire sites. The first one was about the temple and the covenants we make there. The last one was about the 3 degrees of glory.  We made a commitment to go to the Celestial Kingdom that night.  Wrote it down in the journal Logan and his family gave us.   We met wonderful friends forever.  The last  day a elderly man and wife talked about how to have fun on your mission. It found out we were going to Arizona and he went their also.  He emailed us the nicest letter. We had a wonderful time .  We missed our family very much so we had to think of something that would keep us busy.  We are so grateful,for the gospel and for being able to go on this mission to help,others.  We are so thankful for our family who we love so much and for our wonderful friends.  What a great 5 days.

I was sitting here pondering on all the blessings I have in life, one of those that means the most to me is my family.  I love Marty and my kids more then anything, but I am so grateful for wonderful sister's and brother's and nieces and nephews, I think that we have one of the best families ever!!!  I love the fact that even though we don't see each other alot, we know that we can always depend on each other for a lift, I love you all and want you to know how thankful I am to be a part of this awesome bunch of ding dongs!!  love, C

JUST A NOTE TO TELL YOU ALL THAT I LOVE YOU DEARLY
WE HAD A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS SEASON WITH ALL THE KIDO'S AND EVERY GRANDKID WAS HERE.  HOW JOYFUL AND MEANINGFUL THIS WAS TO US ALL.
IT IS NOW THE END OF JANUARY 2013 AND SO MANY CHANGES IN EACH OF OUR FAMILIES HAVE TAKEN PLACE...BEC AND PAUL'S MISSION, JUSTINS WEDDING (HAPPY)AND DEPORT.(SAD) BUT GAINING A NEW GRANDDAUGHTER AND DAUGHTER IN LAW, KIDS GROWING UP, MAS ON EUROPE TOUR, AUD ON CHRISTMAS TOUR, WENDY AND NORM MOVING AND GETTING A NEW GRANDDAUGHTER SOON, CHERISE AND MARTY MOVING CLOSER AND THEIR KIDS MOVING IN SOON WITH THEM, VIC AND AL LOTS OF DIFFERENT THINGS HAPPENING (SAD) THAT AL LOST HIM MOTHER, SHE WAS A SWEETHEART. KIM AND MARY ? NEVER HEAR FROM THEM...SILLIES.
WOW DID I LEAVE ANYONE OUT ?  IF SO I LOVE YA ALL AND WILL TOUCH BASE LATER.
