I LOVED WHAT PRESIDENT MONSON TOLD THE YOUNG WOMEN (WE CAN DO IT TO)
EVERYDAY KNEEL DOWN IN MORNING AND NIGHT PRAYER, READ SCRIPTURES 5 MINUTES A DAY AND SMILE. HOW EASY AND HOW BLESSED MORE WE WOULD BE. DEBBIE I CAN KNOW A LITLE HOW YOU FEEL ON YOUR HOUSE. WE HAD A FLOOD IN NOVEMBER IN THE KITCHEN AND THEY JUST REPLACED THE KITCHEN WOOD FLOOR AND REDONE ALL THE WOODS FLOORS LAST WEEK. WELL IT ALL BUBBLED UP AND THEY ARE COMING TOMORROW TO REDO. IT IS THE PITS. OUR LIVING ROOM LOOKS LIKE A FURNITURE APPLIANCE STORE RIGHT NOW. WE PLAY TRY TO GET TO THE DOOR THROUGH A MAZE. OH WELL. IT WILL GET DONE SOMETIME. LOVE YOU ALL. HAVE A HAPPY EASTER. CHARLYN-NOT THAT I DO NOT TALK TO YOU EVERYDAY BUT IF YOU HAVE PICTURES OF EASTER MAYLEE CAN SHOW THE PICTURE AND EXPLAIN WHAT IT IS. SHE WILL DO GREAT. BECKY

K I CAN PLAN A YOUNG WOMEN FUNDRAISER FOR 250 PEOPLE, GO TO 7 GIRLS CAMPS IN 7 YEARS, DO 100'S OF MUTUALS BUT I CAN NOT COME UP WITH AN EASTER TALK FOR MY LITTLE SUNBEAM FOR SUNDAY, PATHETIC I KNOW IT IS HER FIRST TALK ALSO, HELP ANY IDEAS???? THANKS CHAR

Great Conference

Hello Everyone! How is everyone doing? Wasn't General Conference wonderful? I loved Elder Dallin H. Oaks talk on Unselfish Service. He hit it right on the head when he said we live in a "ME" generation, it's all about me, getting something for nothing. A selfish person seeks to please himself and man not God. We as a people need to make the sacrifice to lose ourself in service to others. I had to ponder on the question he asked "How many people did you help?" It's a great question to ask ourselves at the end of every day. Okay I just want to share a couple of quotes I loved too..."We get what we focus on consistently." Elder Kevin Pearson "It's always right and the right time to walk in His way." Pres. Uchtdorf "Don't dwell on what is wrong with ourselves and the world" & Our Decisions determine our Destiny-Pres. Monson This one isn't from conference but I love it "Noble and Great...that is who you are" Sheri Dew. I think all of you are noble and great and I am so happy and grateful you are all a part of my life. The gospel is true, Christ lives and President Monson is a prophet of God I know these things to be true just wanted to let you all know that. Be happy. Love ya, Shawna

Hey everyone! Wendy's plea for an easier background to read inspired me to try the 3 column look... I debated back and forth between something pretty and pink or monkeys... as you can see... the monkeys won out!! :) Let me know what you think and if it's easier on the eyes (all ya old ladies)!!

APRIL FOOLS DAY

happy april fools day today !
may you all get 1 joke pulled on you that's good !
I already had my joke, i woke up to 6" of snow again and coldddddd.
also had my washing done by 10:00 am which is very unusual for me since i don't like to get up in the mornings very well, and my internal clock said get up at 6:30.
so i get and deserve a nap in the after noon. right ?
