Fabulous fall week

What a great week, a photo shoot of the fall leaves in Sardine Canyon, many great barn shots, canning like a mad woman-salsa, apple butter, red pepper jelly-to die for, drying bananas and cinnamon apples, and I still have apples and watermelon jelly to do. So, if you're feeling hungry, come and visit. The weather has turned very cold and wet, glad we got the apples picked yesterday. Al was home for a day and a half yeah. We had dinner and cards and the Law's. I loved conference and was so excited I got to watch all four sessions. I had some questions answered and feel more at peace. It was fun canning with Deb. Happy birthday Monday. I even got my witches up. Now is I can only get Super Saturday over, maybe life will slow down. LOL.

Life

What a week it has been. Started out great was getting ready to bottle some apple pie filling on Monday but came home from work totally exhausted plus I forgot to buy lids so I said okay Tuesday well it came and I was more exhausted so I said Wednesday, well it came and I ended up calling in sick for work, sinus headache and dry throat, went to work 1/2 day Thursday and on Friday finally went to the doctors. Sinus infection & bronchitis. Yuck, medicine that tastes nasty and knocks me out. So maybe after a good night rest I will be up to doing my apples before they go bad. Anyone want to come help?? JK I hope you all enjoy conference weekend. I always look forward to it. Have happy weekend. Love ya'll, Shawna Shop Hop on Oct. 14th to 17th. Becky and I are going come join us if you want. We are going the 15th and 16th. Lots of fun.

PLANS CHANGE ON A DIME WITHOUT MISSING A BEAT !

DETOUR TO IDAHO (TWIN FALLS) LAST MINUTE FROM LAS VEGAS.
JACK GOT A CALL LAST NIGHT TELLING HIM A MANDATORY MEETING WAS AT 8:00 AM THIS MORINING. SO WE PACKED DIFFERENTLY AND WENT SAILING THRU THE AIR FOR THIS DUMB MEETING THAT MAY TAKE ALL DAY. I'M IN BURLEY IN A MOTEL AND crying a river CAUSE I WANT TO SEE BABY SIMON IN LAS VEGAS, THE TRIP HAD BEEN PLANNED AND AIR FARES PAID FOR, FOR OVER A MONTH. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
ANYWAY, I CALLED BECKY TO TAKE HER OUT FOR LUNCH AND THEY'RE HEADED FOR THE CABIN FOR CONFERENCE. (WE WENT LAST YEAR WITH THEM AS I THINK OF IT)
ANYWAY SHE SAID COME ON UP, HOWEVER I CAN'T GET HOLD OF JACK SO NOT SURE WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN WITH OUR WEEKEND,.
LIFE WILL GO ON AND ON AND ON AND ON (NOT SURE WHO WROTE THAT SONG) BUT LIFE DOES GO ON.
