Crazy Week

Hi everyone, How you all doing? Well just some news that has been going on in the Howlett Family this past week or so. First of all Justin and Samantha has postponed their wedding date. They are still engaged and will be getting married just not in September. So I will let you know when the new date is when they decide. We had a sad experience also one of Justin's best friend got killed in a car accident so it has been a really emotional week. This friend was so awesome but we know he needed to do some more missionary work on the other side. You just never know when it will be your time to go. Well everyone is doing good. Sam is in Little Rock, Arkansas this week for the guard. Heather is busy at work. Dennis and her are taking a trip to Seattle to check out some nursing home facilities out there. They would love to move there someday. Sydney is happy in Indiana. We miss her. I think I might have to take a trip out there soon. Justin and Spencer are just keeping themselves busy with work. Spencer is playing soccer on a men's league. I hope everyone is doing great. We do need another getaway weekend. Love ya, Shawna

Hi everyone,
Hope life is going well for all my lovely nieces and wacky sisters. I'm going truckin' with Al this weekend so wish me luck and a behind that doesn't get sore. I've had a great summer- our neighbor kids have helped with yardwork, I've done tons of crafts, cookouts and water fights with them, they help fill a void in my life with our family so far away. We need another weekend or week... Have a great rest of the summer. Love ya, Vic

Hey there everyone! We're still surviving down here in no man's land! Mona's awesome. We still live at our house, surprisingly enough. We could possibly be here another 2 weeks, if all goes well. Schools here! YIPEE! I'm just beginning another song, hoping to have 5 soon so I can go and record my "debut" CD. We'll see how it all goes! I'm getting excited about it all. It's almost harvest time. Our garden was awesome this year, yeilding 13 cantaloupe, 10 watermelon, 24 corn stalks and 23 pumpkins, lots of carrots, peas, jalepenos, green bell peppers and way too many tomatoes! (The cantaloupe, watermelon and pumpkins are all still growing. I'm sure we'll get more out of them!) We're very excited for our success. The boys each grew one thing and they'll be able to sell them and make a profit off of them. YEAH BOYS!

Clar-here's an awesome one. 1lb. chicken breast, 1 pkt. Good Seasons dry italian dressing mix 3/4 cup water. Put in crock pot on LOW all day long. One hour prior to serving, shred chicken and add 1 can crm of chicken soup and 1/2 cube cream cheese. Serve over pasta or rice! We also love to mix in broccoli or frozen peas prior to serving. It's DELICOUS!

That's all!

Crockpot Recipes

Hey all! I'm on the hunt for Crockpot Recipes! Preferably chicken - cuz that's all I'll eat, but I'm sure Nate would appreciate some different meats, so whatever ya got, get em' posted!! I'm on my way out the door for work right now, but I've got a pretty good one that I'll post when I get back later!

I hope you're all doing well and good luck to Cory on his surgery today! We'll be praying for him!
