Welcome Home Jess and beautiful family!! I for one am sooo happy you are now in the same time zone as the rest of us!! Hope your not too tired from your long journey! And we can't wait to see you in a few weeks! Hug everyone in Utah for us!

Paxton Paul Darrington

Paxton was born May 31st, 7 pounds 4 oz. 19 and a half inches!

We are just loving him so much and I think I am even getting a hang of having 4 kids, hope all is well with everyone we love you all!

Happy Thursday!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to wish you all a Happy Thursday! Today is my day off and my plans for the day include hanging with my two best girlfriends and their adorable kiddos and then going to the Summerfest this evening with my hot hubby!! I LOVE it when the Summerfest comes to town and you can usually find us there at some point during all three days - does that make us nerdy? If so, oh well, we'll embrace it happily! Anyway, just wanted to say that we love you and that we hope that this summer brings happy times for all of us!

Just some thoughts!

First of all I want the Johnson's to know that we are thinking of Cory today and each one of you, I know he is happy were he is even though he misses you all like crazy!! We love you and admire the strength you each have.
Second of all I forgot to wish Cherokee a Happy late Birthday-we love you bug a lug and are so proud of your determination to make your dreams come true in this life, keep up the good work and remember your Heavenly Father and Family love you!!
Third of all Happy Birthday to our little Kenners, we are so grateful to have you in our Family, you have such a beautiful smile, it takes Grandma's cares all away, we love you so much!
Fourth of all, Happy Birthday to our little miracle boy, you are our sunshine and you make our days worth it all, we love you so much Cash and are grateful that you got to be part of our Family!!
Last of all to my Parents, I love and miss you so much, but thank-you for the rainbows that you send us and the Gospel you have instilled into our family unit. I love you Mom and Dad and I am looking forward to a day soon when I can bask in a hug from you both!

Memorial Day

I'm sitting in my front room looking at the fresh snow that we got down really low on the mountains this morning. In the aspen trees are several small yellow birds-just hanging out and I'm in a very mellow, reflective mood. Unusual for me since I'm always running around. I want it to go on record that I love and admire those men and women who have served, are serving and will serve our country. For those who laid down their lives for our freedoms. I am selfish, I take forgranted each day what others do for us. I admit I complain about the state of the country-when I need to be voicing my opinions, doubts and fears and stand up for what I believe freedom means and should be. Thanks to those in our family who have given for us the things that make our lives better. Thanks to the men in our family who work hard to provide a living and honor the priesthood they hold and are examples to us and our families...I love my 6 brother in laws and all my nephews. I am feeling a loss this morning for Cory-I know we all think of him.
I want to tell my sisters and Kim thanks for being my siblings through good and bad times, family matters most. I adore my nieces and nephews and love to see their facebook thoughts and pictures. I think grandma and grandpa look down and smile often at all of us, our families and their great grandkids. How I wish they were still with us to hug, laugh with and talk to. My heart yearns to have one of dads bear hugs and some of his fresh fish and have a heartfelt talk with mom. I am so blessed to be where I am in my family to have known so well beloved grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
I also want to say thanks for choosing me as their mom to my daughters and son, I love you with all my being. I love the four son in laws who take such good care of my daughters. I adore
the ten precious grandkids who grace my life and for being able to skype them and see and hear them. I am also extremely grateful for the kind, patient, forgiving man who stands by me through life's joys and trials. Thanks Al.
Sorry this is so long, I just had an overwhelming sense of emotion and peace this morning. I want to let you all know I love my Savior, my Father in Heaven and my eternal family-all of you.
