Firesides

I just found out that I'm going to Idaho Falls and Blackfoot on the 20th for two firesides. We're doing Jenny's newest fireside titled "Remember the Journey". I'm not soloing or anything like that because I'm just a choir member and there won't be much time to sit and visit considering we're doing two firesides in 4 hours, but it's a really incredible fireside. If anyone's interested in going, let me know and I'll see if I can find out the addresses. If not, no biggie.

Cafe Rio Pork

Blake worked there and got me the recipe.
Put a 3 lb. pork roast in your crockpot and fill it half full of water. Cook on high for 7-8 hours. Drain off liquid and cut pork into four chunks. In a blender mix 1 can of Coke, 1 16 ounce of salsa and 2 cups of brown sugar. Pour over roast and cook on low a couple of hours. I usually double this and freeze half. I make it about every six weeks-I'm hooked. Enjoy

Trucker Babe

So, we're headed out the big guy and his trucker babe. I have serious doubt about the tailbone making it, but at least I'll be with my best friend. I've been telling Al for weeks I wanted to go to Kentucky or Tennessee- he pretty much just laugh, until today, his assignment is to Tennessee. Now if we could just drive through Island Park to get there, oh well, one can dream.
